Under the leadership of Head Golf Professional, Peter Stefanchik, the Golf Program at Elmwood has been elevated to new heights.
Our Professional Staff has put together a Golf Program that will be fun for the entire family at all levels of play. The Men’s, Ladies, Junior, and Winter Golf Programs here at Elmwood all encourage our members and their guests to improve their game in a casual relaxed setting.
Men's Golf
Our Men’s Program provides a variety of different avenues for Tournament Play, Game Improvement and Social Interaction. The Tournament portion of the Men’s Program gives each player the opportunity to compete both individually and in a team setting. Our program provides events that combine both competitive and social aspects.

Ladies Golf
The Ladies Golf Program is a vital part of the Elmwood Experience. Our Program provides a variety of different avenues for Tournament Play, Improvement and Social Interaction. The Tournament portion of the Ladies Program gives each player the opportunity to compete at our club and throughout the Metropolitan area. The Elmwood Ladies Program includes over 30 events for both 9 and 18 holers.

The tournament schedule is not restricted to Elmwood. Elmwood currently competes in Interclub organizations including:

Junior Golf
The Junior Golf Program at Elmwood is one of our highest priorities and is the future of the game. Not only are they great learning tools and great fun for the juniors, but they give back to the game as well. Junior golf is a priority at Elmwood. Regardless of the environment whether on the course, the practice facilities, or in a tournament setting, there are universal goals the Elmwood junior instructional program is set out to achieve:
- Provide a safe environment for learning to occur.
- Teach the juniors basic knowledge about the golf course, the game with its traditions and history, etiquette, clubs, and the rules.
- Provide a setting for fun, social interaction with other juniors.
- Expose the juniors to positive life values such as honesty, responsibility, and courtesy.
- Offer instruction in the fundamentals of the game such as grip, set-up, and balance.
- Create healthy competition with emphasis on having fun and the process of hitting great shots.
- Provide an avenue for advanced juniors to develop their game.
Winter Golf
The brand new Winter Program at Elmwood is here. The Lower Grill room has made the conversion to Elmwood’s brand new Indoor Learning Center. This area provides our membership and their guests with 2 indoor hitting bays and the High Definition Golf Simulator. With 3 areas to practice and work on your game, everyone should be in great shape for the start of the 2016 season. The Winter Golf Program at Elmwood includes: Men’s and Women’s Golf Leagues, Junior Golf Clinics, Women’s Boot Camps, Private and Group Lessons, Practice Sessions, and rounds of golf at some of the best and most breathtaking courses in the world!
